Description

Join us for an opportunity to hear from Lisa Nellessen Savage, Executive Editor of the Pensacola News Journal, for a past, present, and future look at CivicCon. Through “Civic Conversations,” the Pensacola News Journal, in partnership with Studer Community Institute, is hosting a series of public town halls and workshops with the nation’s leading thinkers and experts who will share their expertise on what it takes to build strong communities. In addition, Terry Horne, Director for the Center for Civic Engagement, will join Lisa in talking about the importance of having young professionals involved in these conversations as we create a vibrant community.

PYP board members will also provide an update on what each team has been working on in our first quarter of 2019 and share plans for upcoming events.

This event will be hosted at the Studer Community Institute building on Thursday 6/27 at 5:30pm and is open to the public.
